We’re all about helping our members make the most of their money. And while they go after their goals, you can too. This is a rare opportunity to step into a senior investment role where you’ll directly influence strategy, performance and long‑term member outcomes across domestic and international real estate investments. You’ll be part of our Mid Risk Assets & UK team, working across real assets including real estate, infrastructure and private credit.

  • Shape and execute real estate investment strategies that support ART’s long‑term objectives.
  • Lead the identification, due diligence, oversight and optimisation of direct, co‑investment and fund investments.
  • Monitor portfolio performance, risk exposures and mandate compliance, ensuring disciplined investment management.
  • Deliver clear, insightful performance updates to senior leaders, highlighting risks, challenges and opportunities.
  • Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment on priorities and delivery.
  • Negotiate with external partners and managers to secure optimal commercial and financial outcomes.
  • Stay at the forefront of market and industry developments, identifying emerging opportunities.
  • Represent ART at industry forums and events, enhancing our external profile and reputation.
  • Contribute to governance, compliance and risk management obligations across the investment domain.

It goes without saying you'll be a great communicator with top notch interpersonal skills. We'll also expect you to pick up problems and come up with quick, creative ways to solve them. It's quite likely you tick some of the following boxes too:

  • You’ll bring relevant tertiary qualifications in finance, investments, commerce or economics.
  • You’re an experienced investment professional with deep expertise in real estate or a closely related investment domain, including a strong understanding of regulation, market dynamics and risk‑return optimisation.
  • You’ll use your strong research and analytical capability to interpret data, generate insights and inform high‑quality investment decisions.
  • You’re confident managing senior stakeholders and negotiating with external partners to achieve optimal commercial and investment outcomes.
  • You communicate clearly and with impact, and you’re comfortable presenting complex investment matters to senior leaders and executive audiences.
  • You have hands‑on experience in investment management, including valuation principles and reviewing legal and transaction documentation.
  • You’re able to manage competing priorities effectively in a fast‑paced, high‑accountability environment.
